…if I asked for forty comments I might get them? Or am I not popular enough for that…?
I too am a comment pro.. but the scary thought of offering no more blogging is that someone might actually take me up on that!! 
I love getting comments – I do.. I can’t help it… I even think about my blog when I’m at work and wonder if anyone has been by.. and if I’m having a particularly quiet day then I try and see if I can squeeze in a sneaky login and check out any new visitors….
I know I know… sadness in the extreeeeme…. but I just can’t help it… my little heart skips a beat when I see ‘1 comment awaiting moderation’
Woohoo!! I think… someone new wants to talk to me… how exciting!! Then my disappointment when it’s usually Porn Queen Jemima trying to sell me Viagra or a penis transplant… or a Ford Escort .. which frankly is just the most bizarre spam ever!
So… I am asking how many people want to say hello… can I get 40 comments?
How about 10 then?

Oh the pressure. Now I feel like I have to actually comment on something. I know technically this is a comment but is it OK just to write any old thing?
I will say this: I am a comment whore too. There’s no shame in it. Revel in it. Bask in the joy of comments. Print them off and roll around in them as if they were money… which would be better of course. I hope you get 40 because rolling around in 2 comments would be a little foolish.

I have realised that the two comments in moderation now render my first comment pointless. Why would you be rolling around in two comments when mine is now the fourth? In my defence when I wrote it I was the second so it made perfect sense… well, sense anyway. Of a sort.

Out of lurkdom to say I often visit your site. I lost my sister when I was a child, and I’m fascinated and frequently touched when I read your blog and that of your sister’s. It’s amazing to have a teeny peek at someone else’s relationship – and I hope that my sister and I would have been such good friends if she’d still been alive.
Of course I love all the work, kid stuff, rants too
