Can I just ask..?

March 19, 2007

If you can use the cameras to decide on technical queries in a rugby match.. then why can’t you use them in football..?

I really enjoyed watching the ref in the rugby at the weekend being told that the footage had been watched and …yes.. the try could be awarded..!

Seriously. πŸ™‚

Good decision I thought.

So why. Why?

Why can they not use the cameras in football to decide whether or not a goal can be allowed …? Or to decide whether a player is being a complete pathetic ponce, whilst rolling around on the floor, grabbing and grasping at the wrong ankle he just hasn’t been kicked in .. to try and stop his opponent getting a goal he rightly deserves..?

Why not?

Why not dammit?!??! πŸ™‚

Use the technology. It’s there! It would take 5 seconds and stop shed loads of football related injustice and make the game much fairer and so much less ridiculous.

Although, I have to admit.. it would be disappointing to miss out on the grown men rolling around like injured toddlers when they bump their knees..

Some of the footballers are such drama queens aren’t they! Behaving as though they’ve broken their leg in 12 places when they’ve just tripped over the ball.
Give them a huge kick up the bum I say.

Ooh no. I can’t be bothered with Rugby. Any of the blokes who “might” once have been attractive now have cauliflower ears (amongst other problems) and God only knows how many missing teeth.

I’ll stick to footballers and looking at the male gymnastics bulges thanks. πŸ™‚

πŸ™‚ I have to point out… I wasn’t actually watching the rugby… just blogging at the computer and occasionally looking up to see if it was still on my telly.. *rolls eyes at boyfriend* πŸ™‚
