New Table!

March 22, 2008

We’ve deliberated for a couple of weeks looking for a new table for the girls to sit at.. eat at… draw at… play at etc etc.

Many a search-engine-half-hour later we decided on this one from Toys r us..

We saw loads and loads

and really deliberated over how much to spend…. some places seem to think that well over £120 is a suitable price for a table and 2 chairs [smaller than my bum!!!] and some places charge a worrying £15 when quite frankly I just wonder about the quality..

We wondered about size, colour… how easy it was to store in the room… whether the table itself could be used as storage [you can get ones with buckets underneath for pens/paper etc]… but in the end.. I’m very pleased with this one.

It comes flat pack [inevitably] but it was easy to assemble…

and is already a firm favourite… for Peppa Pig viewing….

and for more piggy viewing…

It’s a good size and it seems very durable. So if you’re looking for a children’s table, suitable for 1 year olds [Ella is almost 20 months I suppose actually] 3 year olds… good for wiping clean, drawing, eating… red…. with two chairs and cheap as chips… then you can’t apparently go far wrong with this one!

5 stars [so far]….

That does look a nice one. We have this one from Ikea which is nice and has a wipe clean top, but yours looks nicer. Red wouldn’t go in our room though (hark at me!).

funnily enough – I have already asked BN to look for a paint to get it ‘matched’ in with the cafe au lait theme in our front room 🙂
