The girls had a birthday party to go to yesterday and for the first time it was held somewhere other than a whacky warehouse!

We went to a local farm park – lambs, calves, baby bunnies, hammies, gerbils, rats, donkeys, horses, cows and a lot more…. The girls were a little nervous of the various weird and wonderful animals at first but five hours later Rowan did touch a horses’ neck for four tenths of a millisecond so it was worth it 🙄

She is a nervous little thing bless her 🙂

Ella mostly took it in her stride and was very pleased with herself for touching a donkey’s head and they both had a go at bottle feeding a lamb and a calf. I let a calf suck my thumb which was pretty weird – like a very strong baby waiting for a feed – cute tho!

I thoroughly enjoyed it I have to say – the party was from 11am until 1.30 but we didn’t leave till 3.30.

Loved it!

We have another invite there soon apparently and I’m looking forward to seeing them braver…. touching a few more things and getting a go on the adventure playground cos it was raining yesterday.

So – all good 🙂

Plus one of the mum’s had an 8 week old baby girl so feeling just a little bit broody.

And – BN agreed we can get a rabbit 🙂
